Pure speculation on my part BUT it would fit with the 'staffing issues' that were supposedly preventing FPP from taking over.
SD stays and moves into the role responsible for commercial development vacated by TD and FPP appoint their own man as CEO.
Just my thoughts on the matter, I'm in no way ITK!
Maybe, my analysis of the few facts/reported facts that are in the public domain has lead me to being wide of the mark BUT my conclusions seem logical to me.

Never thought you could be described as "over-sensitive" but it seems I was wrong
They'll always be people who believe they have inside information, at our club.
What this takeover has shown is that none of them have had a clue when push comes to shove.
