All we can do Ubes is hope common sense prevails and we remain in the EU. Only a nobhead or a tory would want to make others worse off.

Here’s a crazy thought, but maybe some U.K. citizens will be better off almost immediately after any sort of Brexit? (And I don’t mean those confounded Rees-Mogg conspiracy marketeer shenanigansters)

Here are a few crazy ideas:

A devalued pound may make exports more attractive.

Whilst a devalued pound may also make imports less attractive the U.K. consumer may instead plump for acquiring home produced goods and services.

An independent U.K. can remove tariffs on certain goods or services to make them more or less competitive.

A devalued pound could lead to an increase in interest rates. Though not popular with everyone - so careful management required - this may attract inward investment into the U.K.

We can award major construction or development contracts to U.K. companies rather than have to perhaps tender these across the EU.

You can pick any number of favourite sectors to which you might want to apply some of this **** in the same way that I can.

I certainly dont want a devalued pound. It would also be nice to award construction developments to uk companies. Why dont we do that now?

Pound raising fast at €1.16 keeps going like this and I may get a few extra quid for my trip to France. :)

Breaking: optimism is high for a draft bill by tonight. Reports saying it will look more like a hard Brexit than the May deal.

Didn't Theresa May describe the N.Ireland-only backstop as something that 'no British Prime Minister could ever agree to'?

This is what Johnson looks like accepting.

I think we should all wait and see what comes out of the meeting first. Everything at the moment is all hearsay.
Funnily Sturgeon has just said she would reject it without even seeing it?

    Breaking: cabinet meeting tomorrow.
    I guess that's it then.

This is going to be something to see.
Imagine you are one of the 120 labour MPs who's seats voted to leave.
Boris comes back with a deal and your Brexitier leader tells you to vote down the deal. And what's worse you have been on TV interviews for months saying you work for your constituents?
