I’ve never had and never will have a problem with RTG. I do have a problem with some of the posters, cynical, negative and desperate to say I told you so.
For over 2 weeks I’ve never posted on any thread apart from the football on TV thread. It’s just not worth the poo you get from the negative posters.
I love me team. But I’ve no idea why sone bother

I feel the same think its a cracking forum SMB section can be a laugh as well. Just the amount of bellends on there has risen and the mods seem to do nothing about it.

What I would say, is I have laughed more and enjoyed this place more since I found it as opposed to rtg where I don't post much

You've been a beacon of restraint and dignity tbh.

So pleased you've brought your humanity and humour to this board.

I agree. This is why I'd like to see the accounts in April (or when they're published) and see what has been resolved, whether they've paid money back into the club (of their own money) and whether there are more questions to answer.

She deffo said it better than I did but same view... it's a shame if they allow the trolls to take over.
She, who is she

Thank you. I am who I am and fundamentally that is a Sunderland supporter and humour is definitely a pre-requisite xx

Also the problem with RTG is that it's a free for all that moves too fast. There are so many good posts on there that get lost in people being abusive, or needlessly antagonistic. The whole thing descends into a mess in every thread.

I think your right and I'm sure GOM said it was just a clunky way of doing it

Thanks for that.
I thought that there had been a discussion between GOM and Kittens Mittens about this very topic over the road some time ago that came to that conclusion.
IIRC the final comment was that this would be looked at again when the accounts were available.
I was just a bit confused as to why we were having the same conversation now when no new information is yet available.

For my part, it's because the vast majority of people are unaware that the club is owed £20m+ by Donald's company, while Donald is negotiating a potential deal to sell the club. When I brought this up I was told to stop being negative :D

Ok but we won't know the next leg of the transaction until the accounts are available and at that point we may be able to make an informed decision.
In relation to the potential deal I would be most surprised if this wasn't bottomed out as part of due diligence and the overall deal will reflect this so I don't see a major problem there.

You're entitled to your opinions etc mate.

Not everyone will agree but your views should be respected imo.

It might yeah... but if a deal falls through, that might also reflect it. It's only not a 'major problem' as long as the new prospective owners are willing to write down Stewart Donald's debt to the club.

See this is where we have to be careful, we don't know for certain any new owner would have to do that until the accounts are published?

I think people are starting to get confused about this. Whether that is correct or not is immaterial, there is no allegation of wrongdoing.

Charlie Methven quite literally said this exact thing 4 months ago, therefore it's entirely reasonable to ask whether that could be a factor.
