Moving his business up here suggests he wants to stick around.
The abuse and accusations regarding him are ridiculous
I am embarrassed that alleged Safc fans do that.
Has he ****.

He never once proclaimed himself as a ‘saviour’, the deal for the club and the way it was financed was open from day one, yet everyone got their fannies in a knot when the information we already knew was repeated several months the later.

Sartori was 100% genuine, his political progress and the opportunity for him to help the people of the very proud and humble country he’s from being more important than a 3rd tier club several thousand miles away is understandable.

Now, let’s not forget that these prospective new, business savvy and outrageously wealthy owners, well they weren’t looking a year ago.

If the club is a saleable and viable asset to a major, successful asset management business, that’s down to the people who have made the books at the club palatable.

It’s certainly not helped by folk hurling unfounded vitriol on social media, publicly, at a man who has grafted his bollocks off whilst at the helm of the club.
100% these two. ^^^^
Anyone that tries to make my club succeed whether or not it comes off gets my total respect.

As far as I'm aware he's never said that.

What I can recall him saying (after selling his Insurance business) was that he'd be opening a BRANCH of his Leasing operation in Sunderland and then going on to say he was inviting job applications.

Somewhat different, I think, to your interpretation of the same information.
Sorry, creating jobs up here.

Let’s not forget, these potential new owners could buy Manchester United, comfortably.

The fact they are looking not only below that, but 2 leagues down at a club that was £160million in debt 16 months ago is mind boggling.

****ing well done Stu, heartfelt from me, 37 years a fan.
Got to be that it's simple business. A massive club with massive fanbase along with all of the facilities at an incredibly low price is a bargain. They saw the potential from watching 'Sunderland Till I Die'. Buy cheap and serious money potentially to be made.

Maybe it was relatively cheap but possibly after looking closely they found it may not be so cheap and they were getting stiffed.
Add to that the story of donald staying to run things ( when it was felt they were being stiffed ) ...well the whole thing takes a different complexion.
Due diligence is one thing but both parties are expected to act in good faith. If the msd lads have lost faith donald is complying with the latter then things could have soured.
Again all speculation but business molehills can become business mountains

True, and good points. At the end of the day it is ALL speculation, I just hope that at the end of this our club can move on and progress back to where we rightly belong.

Worthy of two likes that....
Couldn't agree more.

Just seems to be backtracking on Twitter by saying they still want it but not with current deal, earlier in the week he said it was dead in the water.
He knows as much as we do but makes stuff up so that, believe it or not, people buy The Sun!!!! and he continues to bad mouth Donald after he took them for damages.

Yeh I’m sick of people quoting Nixon do they actually think he knows anything
He’s just a chancer grasping at straws
People need to take no notice of him he knows less than me

No big deal but I'd just like to make a small point.

Since this all began various people, such as Alan Nixon, etc, have claimed the takeover was on/off/on/off.

Even when I was being absolutely hammered, and ridiculed, I've maintained it was on and has always remained on.

Everyone now appears to be accepting its still on despite wave after wave of negativity.

I also said, from day one, that the Americans would go through every aspect of the club like a tsunami ...

... I don't think anyone can actually doubt that now.

Just saying .....

If it is still on I just hope the owners don't do anything daft to jeopardise it, sounds like they sharp walked away from the mags when they thought Ashley was taking the piss. In that respect Donald coming off Twitter might be a good thing, it's not the most professional of looks and is always likely to cause bother

Understand people's anger towards him, but just as it shows naivety to proclaim a done deal(as loads of people did) surely its the same naivety to denounce Nixon as knowing nothing.
Wait and see is all i'm saying. They could all be lying. Nixon, SD and CM, The Sun and The Americans. Then again Nixon could be right on the money.
All I know is a lot of fans have been made to look like fools for proclaiming FPP as our new owners. I'm keeping my powder dry.

Nixon is either being played by someone or hes just making stuff up
Last week he said
"Won’t be Dell people as it stands. Need to find some other money now"
"Going to have to find another buyer or investor
"
now saying
"They clearly want it. But not current deal."
The bloke is full of s****

Could the so called Sun exclusive not be something along the lines that Donald has agreed to pay Short money if the club went back up within a certain period? It's amazing that Short walked away selling the club for next losing millions wiping off the debt yet whoever came in (Donald) could potentially get promoted within a few seasons to the Premier League and get huge millions in return by selling the club that will be worth far more?

That would mean it's not Donald wanting the 'bonus' money so he's right by denying it but it still exists as a clause somewhere?

The bloke who stopped us going into administration and has got very rich people taking an interest in us is full of ****? If the investors do pull out it will be more likely because they have witnessed the abuse the current owner get for his efforts..
