I'm not convinced they'd wait until promotion to invest. Won't that cost them more because we'd be worth more? Unless SD's asking price is based on us getting promoted?

I think we might see some action before January window if we are competing.

They could funnel some money in then to get us over the line. Frankly, investing right now would do nothing on the park until January regardless.

They must not **** the managerial appointment of the whole house of cards is ****ed.

That statement is absolutely pathetic. Donald has continually built up the hopes of the fans by adding fuel to this fire.If you build expectation that a potentially game changing takeover might happen within 2 weeks, you can't be surprised if the fans expect to hear something within that 2 week period.

How has he added fuel to the fire apart from tell people he was talking to investors
 
Reading that, everything seemed to be geared towards investment when we reach the Championship.

Was hoping for news of a little extra investment this season to allow us to kick on, as in my opinion we need it, and I'm not convinced that we currently have the funds needed to strengthen in January.

However, talks are still ongoing, so it may yet happen, particularly if our new manager hits the ground running.

Well for starters, he told people he was talking to investors rather than refuse to talk about it at all and do it behind the scenes.

He also said that it was a greater than 50/50 chance of it happening and that we would know more in the next 1-2 weeks. If the chairman of the club tells us that, I don't think it's impatience to be expecting an answer within 1 to 2 weeks. He managed our expectations and that's why we expect!

The media have had a lot of little snippets of this story all along as well and I don't think it was the Americans slipping then information about their interest.

2 weeks ago, he could have said that he can't discuss it. Instead he implied (or at the very least left it open to interpretation) that it could be largely complete at this point and added fuel to the fire. Maybe fans have got carried away with it, but he managed expectations poorly in my opinion.

Just had a pizza marra. Very nice. Crusts very thin and crispy as they should be.

**** knows don't know the bloke but seems a canny fella and has helped out loads of fellow fans so can't see why he's lie.

I'm starting to think he may have been lead up the garden path a bit though. Wonder what the mind blowing stuff was?
