Klopp made a mistake last year. He went there to not make mistakes and lose, I think he didnt expect City to just win every game.
Going to 100 points a draw is as useless as a loss, so we need the win.
We are good enough for the win and we are the better team, but it's still a big game that they will be desperate to stop us winning. So who knows

More or less. The bar is now set so high that too many draws can be disastrous. Witness last year when City lost 4 games to our 1, yet still pipped us because we drew too many.
I said earlier in the thread that we slipped up at Utd last time because we gave them too much respect. We can't afford to do that again. There's a prevailing belief that Utd are still the dominant team and are just waiting to click. It's a hangover from them spending so many years at the top but it's no longer true. They're not as bad as their current form suggests, but we have no more reason to fear them than any other team in the PL.
We're the top dog atm, and we need to believe that and make it count.

In ye olden days when our major aspiration was top 4 we knew we could afford to screw up a few times and still make it. Now, one slip and they'll be breathing down our necks.
Tbh I'm so calm and relaxed about this season it doesn't make sense, even to me.
Only games ive worried about was the supercup and the lestah game so far.

I was nervous years ago and I'm still going stro....
So here’s the thing. Utd are set up to counter. Playing against teams that defend deep doesn’t help them at all. We will obviously not do that so will be good opposition for them. I expect it to be closer than people might think....and as we seem to like to concede....we will...but we should still win this.
Depends how long it takes for us to score our first. The sooner we can quieten the referee the bigger the scoreline.
Still the meanest defence in the PL, without our first choice keeper, and our GD is twice that of any other club apart from City.
We have everything we need to win this game, we just need to believe that.
