I think now though we can all agree this takeover/investment is ever done or off no middle ground now

no way would he be sacked in the middle of discussions something has happened in the last few hours hopefully good news but I’m not so confident as I was a few weeks back

<laugh>

Same here mate.

This is all madder by each mad day. I'm being told now that it'll be investment at first, Allardyce in and a takeover when we reach the PL. They want SD to do all the donkey work then put their own people in later rather than sooner. I suppose, why would anyone want to trudge around Fleetwood and Accrington tbh. An investment of a few million would be all it takes to sack Ross, bring in someone capable and get us promoted.

This info was from a mate BTW, no one connected but he's had times when he's been right.

I would take this at the moment, even a slight association with these guys would be a positive

Full day meeting on Wednesday. ****s sake.

I had some news today that there will be an announcement this week but it is not the one i hoped- i wont say what but i will state the reasons of concern to Dell:

-the projection for SAFC to get back to the premier is now longer since talks began due to our poor performance

- a very volatile customer base

- that the potential had been’embelished’ regarding the academy

- roadblocks on development around stadiums and hotel

- other clubs have now been in touch

So on short, they feel they have been misled by Donald on potential and they also found some undeclared numbers in the books-

NOT saying its off- im sure Donald will be on his knees now but when i heard about Ross soon after the news i heard all i thought was damage limitation and Donald has taken his frustration out on Ross- ie if we were doing an ipswich it would have been an easier sell-

If this ends up being true- its basically Armageddon

So Allardyce is going to sit around for nearly 3 years (Minimum) and wait for us. In the meantime, the manager who gets us to the PL is given the sack....for getting us to the PL.

Sorry, but thats bollocks.

doesn't necessarily mean that. might mean BSA in now then more investment when we reach the Prem

Edit: Sorry SEB all over

Some of that goes against what Donald said in terms of excellent feedback concerning due diligence and no skeletons in the closet. If it's true, he's in for a rough ride!

I'm clinging to the hope it's all done, hence the Ross sacking.

Hmmm if that's true will soon find out if we get BSA.

Bloody hope it is he would get us back, doubt he'd come though unless he's been assured of investment.

Could work both ways that though they still do full take over SD stays on for say 5 years then they fully takeover while investing in meantime.

What you are saying here is completely my view. But I’d rather it all come out in the wash than just be alluded to an a public forum.
I always thought our current predicament on the field could have had a bearing (please don’t use our volatile fan base as an argument they should know we are a passionate bunch). The biggest thing that concerns me is the possibility that the numbers weren’t adding up and there were a lot more financial skeletons in the closet than first thought. Big time investors don’t miss a thing. I just want it all over with and see where we are after the dust settles
