Dear Sunderland fans


My good buddy and not606 stalwart Com has approached me in strictest confidence to express his disappointment and shame for his actions which resulted in his account being suspended from your board.

He has been suffering with flashbacks from his army days, PTSD and self medicating with lager and self loathing.


Everyone deserves a second chance and he has promised me he will not do it again.

He's been doing it for years mate and it's always the same excuse as if he was first out of the landing craft on D-Day.

No sorry, it's more often 'sorry lads I was drunk'.

He comes on to lash out, laps up the laughs but apologises if he doesn't get any.

There are many on here that act the **** when we have had a few shandies, usually deep rooted problems come out and we lash out .

We are all human and ostracism isn't the answer.

I know he won't create another account and disrupt your board but instead stew in his own self made depressive state.

Everyone deserves redemption and perhaps a 1 month cooling off period to reflect on his actions would be more appropriate?

At the end of the day it's your call but at least think about it.

Sometimes when we are on a self destructive path a little bit of empathy can make all the difference, he has clearly upset the apple cart on here but at the end of the day he's a Sunderland fan

Nobody else will have him .

On a serious note , perhaps give it a month and reassess the situation with him.

He's probably angry that I reached out to you guys on his behalf.

Comm's a nut job, I wouldn't let the guy back either, he's proper fruit loop, must have been all them bullets of peace wizzing past his ears in Ireland. Proper messed up his brain. He's more fragile than he makes out and is living with his demons.

His only solace is to cook revolting sausage casseroles and post the results up on the prem board.

It looks revolting.

At the end of the day if he kills himself it's not my fault I'm on his side.

I don't know what Comm did this time and I'm not saying he didn't deserve a ban but it does feel like the board is getting over sanitised where someone says one naughty word to another and bam there's the ban.

I used to like having Comm post on here but I know he was a big part of driving Smug away so if it's him or Smug it's a no brainer who contributes more to the board.
