Felt contact and dived . Im with you on this... why did the ref not let it go to var ? It was a match deciding decision ... very harsh and players will continue to dive if they get success from.. it wasnt like he was going anywhere and if a pass was on hed have played it . There was **** all on , so he dived. If refs give them then var has to give them all imo
It did go to VAR but they seemingly never overule the referees decision if it’s even vaguely subjective.

He dived and therefore cheated it’s not even a debate imo.

It’s not strict on pens. It’s strict on agreeing with the referee.

Exactly i dont think its fair ... if it goes to var they are far more strict ... im saying it makes the entire process a joke.. its not about the refs imo they like the limelight .

It wasn't a red card, I think Klopp knows that after calming down.

It was as cynical as you get though, the argument should be how cynical should the game allow you to be? At the moment you can literally hack a player down and take a yellow... seems ok to me but I can see why managers get pissed.
It was a cynical foul, happens in most games, but that’s all it was. Klopp was pissed as Salahs ankle twisted under the challenge and he also used it to deflect away from the blatant dive that won the game.

Thats right and im saying var should if ita one they wouldnt have given ... otherwise whats the point ? No consistancy and still players will dive especially in the last min

They’ll hide behind ‘a clear and obvious error’ there was minimal contact and despite him taking a stride before diving, they can say it wasn’t a clear and obvious error.

They’ve dig themselves into a hole with that definition. They should have said from the start “we’ll give ****ing anything unless there isn’t a player within five yards of the bloke falling over. On offsides we’ll just draw some lines vaguely across the pitch which are inaccurate up to 19cm.” That would’ve covered all bases.

I just despise diving and was enjoying the likes of kane, salah and all the ****ers staying on his feet , but yesterday liverpool got away with it. I wanted liverpool to win btw.

Grow up daft lad. I’m far from ‘upset’ I would be if I was a Leicester fan though. I just hate cheating in the game, and VAR was supposedly to help in eradicating it, in this instance it’s condoned it. Poor.

If he pulls him back by the shirt that's a yellow. Once he leaves the ground and had no control over himself with no chance to win the ball he's applied excessive force and it's a mandatory red [HASHTAG]#readtherules[/HASHTAG]

So you think if VAR existed it should have overturned DCL's penalty against us, or that contact from behind was a different kind of contact from behind?

Kopite whataboutery at its most desperate.

He didn’t touch him with his feet at all, you’re absolutely ****ing clueless.
