Can't wait for this ... just hope the younger players won't be 'overawed' by the Anfield experiencec ... for me that happened at Old Trafford ... took us 20 mins to settle and by then we were one down ... still came back and should have got something ... but can't do that against this Liverpool side ... <cheers>

IMO Maddison wasted on the left hand side. Thought Evans should have stepped up for their goal...far too deep.

Chilwell loves going backwards.

Hopefully a better 2nd half to come, as we've created nothing.
 
FFS - Albrighton conceding a penalty in the last minute after both he and Jasper left the ball for each other and Mane stole it.

Looking at the stats, it is deserved - can play as well as you want but if you can't make chances then what's the point.

Left it for Kasper who probably thought it was a backpass from the initial tackle.

Either way it was a penalty - doesn't matter if Mane went down easily, there was contact and that is that.

Remember Newport in the Cup? ... Albrighton ffs! ... like a rabbit in headlights sometime ... admittedly Liverpool warranted the 3 points but so ****ing frustrating to self destruct ... both goals in stoppage time ffs! <grr>
 
Rodgers ultra positive post match comments - sums it up. Again look how far we have come .. guaranteed to be in the top four at the end of this weekend after the rest of the games after playing

5 out of the top 7 from last season .. yet again an enjoyable ride ahead mehopes!!

I absolutely hate that saying in football. Its a contact sport. Just because there is contact doesnt make it a foul and doesnt mean Mane should fall over

Im not having a go at Mane as everyone does it but its cheating still

Ive heard Robertson laughed in his face and apparently Perez said/done something when Maddison scored

Whatever it was really riled Perez but if its true that Robertson just did back what Perez did they dont go and do it yourself in the first place

Cant stand bad winners or bad losers. Shake hands, walk off and kick the cat when you get home or something
