The decision not to bin Ross after the play off final has backfired massively. Methven wanted him gone, you could tell.

Mate, I posted the below around 3 weeks ago on RTG and still stand by it

Is it just me or has anybody else got the feeling that we have David Moyes Mk2 managing us? I am 100% at the stage now that no matter what, I want him to leave. He proved to be not good enough last season and this season so far for me has been abysmal. Every win (in my opinion) has been a lucky win and the draws have been lucky draws. We dont want to leave it too late because thats exactly what Bain did with Moyes...kept hold of him more in hope that it will change rather than making the change when it mattered, and of course for these reasons thats why we are where we are.

In conclusion not firing Jack Ross before its too late is much of the same as not firing David Moyes before its too late. In each circumstance we find ourselves in League 1, to me this is 100% mis-management from the men at the top. (and I am a big supporter of SD)

Spot on that like he needs to go. I was unsure if he should have stayed after the playoff but thought give him time as it was a whole new team but we are going backwards under Ross not forwards.

That can't happen in any league for any manager never mind where we are now, has to go..

The 3 wet bandits go first with SD with a stay of execution due to saving us he has money in the bank on that.

I’m starting to fall out of love with it again, the footballs dire and has been for over a year now the difference is now it’s becoming more apparent because the manager can’t hang his hat on his match winners to pull him out of the ****e week in and week out.

I think if we were all honest no matter what side of the fence we are on this can’t continue we can not afford to be in this division again next season, if the ownership does not act now we will still be playing 3rd tier football again next season.

Regarding the takeover, lets hope they decide to put stadium extensions, bridges over the wear and indoor ski slopes to one side and for the first time in months concentrate on the here and now and whats in front of them. They wont have any of the above if they dont start making some crucial desicions on the playing side sooner rather than later...they really need to get their arse into gear

Donald’s insistence on trying to get short term gains in terms of promotion has and will cost us massively in the future in my opinion.

He’s saddled us with a manager he won’t sack, a recruitment team led by his mate, players we can’t afford to move on, an academy that’s producing some of the worst results in its history, and now a fan base that’s had enough.

He needs to go as well.

I’m not sure it’s an over relaxation if I’m honest. He’s just stating the blatant obvious.

Only thing I’d disagree with is Donald going straight away however long term for us to kick on its inevitable

Ive been saying for a long time that he isn’t the right person to lead the club on. It’s hardly an overreaction. There are no positives at the club at the minute.

Doesn't mean you are correct though. I want SD to stay. The manager should go and I feel he will.
If a new manager gets a tune out of the players does that mean the other faults you highlight are no longer there?

No, which is why I believe the person responsible for hiring the manager, recruitment staff and academy leadership needs to go as well.

That is an over reactionIf a new manager comes in and goes well the rest won't get a mention except for face saving on a forum.
