Corporations and constant expansion didn't help. At the end of the day though it's too do with the number of people on the planet and the lifestyles we live. No one wants to say it but the only way to tackle climate change is population control
I was having a deep discussion with a mate last week about the same thing. Thinking of the positives that if the world was a bit ‘Logan’s Run’ and we all knew we were gonna be put to sleep painlessly at the age of 70.....meant you wouldn’t have to worry about pensions, most would be able to say goodbye to their family, be a better way to go for most than many I’ve seen riddled with disease, would solve/help climate change......a good few positives.....
Strange that, with all that's going on a media outlet choose that headline, it's clear most have levels of biased, but thank it's quite frankly embarrassing.
You're right, of course, Bobby. The worldwide population increases over the last 50 years are unsustainable.
Saw this a few years ago - it's quite terrifying when you see the projections what the global population will top out at......

Can we have the first cull now? And then call the second referendum. Just a humble suggestion to win over some die hard Remainers. They shouldn't worry because they keep telling us that there's precious little evidence that the younger electorate want to remain. Apparently that's fake news
I’m glad it’s not a pop at me, WWR. I have no strong feelings towards her one way or the other. Same for Trudeau. One man’s meat is another man’s puerile. If something is funny to me then I laugh regardless of whether it’s contrary to any of my personal views or not.
Nah that would be cruel to cull old people. Maybe just send them off to some warm sunny Island. Imagine how much more money everyone would have. No nhs beds taken, loads more free houses and no need for social care of money on pensions .
There's a strong, but largely silenced voice in meteorology that tells us that climate change is a perfectly natural occurance and that man's contribution is negligible. CO2 makes up 0.04% of the atmosphere and man contributes 4% to that 0.04%. It says that CO2 is absorbed into the deep oceans during ice ages and released during warmer periods. It says termites contribute more CO2 than man. ......wait for the angry responses......
