You don't know if there are any underlying circumstances in all of this. Yes it's a footie forum and a bit of a laugh but sometimes if there are other things going on in your life and it gets a bit ugly on here, it can affect you when most times it wouldn't.

I get that, I don't think I'm rude or that I really go at people though? If someone is getting wound up or looking for an argument I'll leave them be (most of the time). As far as underlying circumstances go nobody really knows and we'd have to check before posting anything so I don't think that works. A good example would be that I know you have had some issues so I'm replaying to you in this way whereas is @Solid_Air 2 came on and told me to leave MITO alone I'd tell him to **** off. :biggrin:

If you treat everybody with respect you (one) don't (doesn't) have to worry about underlying circumstances and that's sort of the point.

When you register on this site it doesn't say ' don't join if you're a bit thin skinned'. There should be a place for everyone whether you're a delicate little flower, hard as nails or anywhere in between. We have mounting evidence that something's not quite right by the sheer number of good posters who are leaving. If the attitude now is - good riddance, never liked them anyway, where's your sense of humour etc. - that doesn't bode well for growing the site and speaking for myself, has made me slightly uncomfortable.

Fair enough, I wont get into it with you, I don't quite agree but have no desire to start upsetting people. I can't log into JA at the moment to respond to MITO but I've added a post on the leaving thread explaining me leaving a bit off the end of his post in the OP. There was no malice there just a misunderstanding.

You are a prolific reader and what you read is good literature so your mind must be bouncing most of the time. I guess coming on here is one outlet for all the pent up mental activity. Apart from one mad moment from both of us, we have got along fine on here and that's how I intend to carry on. There are posters I miss on here and I don't think there's any harm expressing that view. I've always said what made our board so good was the diversity of characters. We don't very often agree with each other and I like that.

Really the only thing that offends me is the overt racism and religious intolerance on the Premier League board (not here usually except that one guy from another team on the joke thread sometimes) ... And even then it's not really that it offends me, it's more that it disgusts me.
