Honestly, statistically there probably is likely one or more legitimately gay or bi people on this forum; so not to be a hypocrite (because I wouldn't intend to offend them), I'm going to stop the gay jokes about Biscan. Even if it doesn't offend him, it might offend others (and I don't intend to)... Please slap my hand if I make any Biscan gay jokes again.

For the record, despite not feeling I actually did anything worthy of him leaving, I did apologise for any unrest I may have caused. I actually sent a "peace" PM within minutes of him saying he was leaving.

I actually find it a bit cringy that this topic keeps reappearing. He's a grown man that can make his own decisions.

However, I do agree that it's a bit disrespectful to moan about him now he's taken the decision to leave.

Lastly, i agree about the new posters being hounded but I think that's mainly because the sites sign-up as been broken for a long time so many assume it's a sock account. With the raise of the PL board and it being a wumsters paradise, I'm suspicious of any new user that appears.

Get a Pitcher plant. I have one in the kitchen, no fly survived more than a few hours after entering the house. It won't take wasps or bees as they are not attracted to it. Secret of keeping them alive is never give them tap water, only rainwater. Also always have the pot standing in at least 5mm of water.

BTW joking aside... Fruit flies (I'm talking about drosophila melanogaster) have an interesting reaction if you give them alcohol.

Like many animals they experience what is perceived as drunkenness. Failure to fly properly, lazing around... And becoming randy. They start humping each other more and do actually start showing homosexual behaviour (well I guess bisexual because the males still go after females too)... Basically they start banging anything that looks like a fellow fruit fly.

 

Used to be able to. Might still be able to but I don't know how; it's not as simple as clicking a button. Have to go to Supermods now and let then investigate.
