Not keen myself. £100 fine early 80s after the game. We won 1-0 scored very early on and fans sang all the way thru the match.

Good start, bad ending.

I got done for £400 in 1979 and my brother got done for £1000 for the same related incident.. I done sod all to deserve it and was stitched up by the police and courts..

They look in serious trouble.
While Leicester arent a bad side, they were missing Maddison who is arguably the best midfielder in the premier league this season this far.
Imagine what the score might have been had he played?
Bruce is dismantling the counter attacking style developed by Rafa so now they dont know if they are Arthur or Martha.
I cant see ashley spending big at xmas. Besides they need at least 100m ro stay up.
Wish I could have some sympathy..but all I have is tummy wipes.

imagine if Peter Kenyon took them over and had much less money than Ashley :emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm
Kenyon doesnt have and regardless, wouldnt spend it if he did, millions to spend on players.
The bloke at the head of the consortium that kenyon is touting ( gacp iirc ) actually has a net worth less than ashley.
Think about it
125m up front
50m ( supposedly ) up front for team strengthening and paying off the other 225 over 3 years.
That would be more than 30% of his net worth on a whim/gamble , all presupposing they stay up.
Maybe he is going to pillage the parachute payments???
I just dont see the value anywhere.
They would own the ground and training facilities but not the land that they are built on. So no real estate opportunities that I can see.
Clearly these people arent idiots there must be some value somewhere.
But there would be very little room for the outlay on players their fans seem to believe is their divine right.

No club owners would do that...................................................would they?

I think the word I am looking for is schadenfreude (?)... after all our misery interesting to see our near neighbours suffer

Just been talking to one of my Mag relatives who was at Leicester. He reckons there was a big bust up after the game when Bruce basically accused the players of not trying.

They've thrown Benitez back in his face and put the blame on Bruce.

It was inevitable really and just the beginning of the end for Bruce, there's no way he'll get these players onside.

They have no one to go to that they trust and have called Bruce out to his face ....

... the reason training was cancelled apparently.
