I am unable to comment on any material aspects of the actual deal.

In which case I suggest you take your silly threats of libel action elsewhere ...
... most likely back to RTG from whence you came.

It's strangely noticeable that you've not made any similar accusations on there despite speculation being rife and the place where the 50/50 nonsense originated.

I don't know who you are, over there, but I think everyone can guess ...
... what a truly infantile charade man <doh>

Cheap premises and lower wages would be my guess.

That would certainly be a factor, but there must be similar opportunities elsewhere in the UK.
I think that he expected to be in and around Sunderland for an extended period, say 5 years, and that this office would give him an opportunity to manage two business from one location. Well he may have to walk across the bridge but you get my drift.

It's not oddbod this time, unless he's employed a spell checker.

As I pointed out yesterday morning this is exactly the sort of speculation that Mr Donald referred to in his clarification tweets following his Consett talk in.

The Sun article was a direct consequence of social media gossip including this message board, forcing Mr Donald to issue even more denials and clarifications.

Despite what you say the deal is not complete and I know that the current climate of gossip is causing real concern at SAFC.

Your subsequent posts have suggested that you have dismissed my concerns.

If that is the case may I suggest that you contact Mr Donald directly via twitter and I'm sure he will confirm the above.

I'm not singling you out in particular but as you appear to be the unofficial spokesperson on here for all takeover rumours I felt it appropriate to address you directly.
SAFC and their unofficial mouth piece RR have done nothing but fan the flames of rumour and gossip .

I haven't made any threats of libel.

I have no special allegiances except for being a long term supporter of SAFC

As I have already said my comments can be confirmed by contacting Mr Donald directly via twitter.

If you do not wish to I am happy to contact him on your behalf and report back.

You mentioned libel in a previous post.

You're obviously posting this so it goes back to RTG as 'Reiver's had a slap on the wrist'.

Grow up man.

P.M. me in confidence if you want a proper discussion ...
... you obviously won't.

Pancho is adamant that no no journalists have signed up to rtg to stir ****. I’m one of the least most qualified people on this planet to argue otherwise as i’m rubbish at all things IT but surely that’s nonsense. How would you know what occupation a newbie does when they sign up to a message board?

I agree that no mod is going to know what job any new poster has got. How could they? It wouldn't surprise me if it was happening but I have no way of proving it one way or the other.

It won't mate.

The people sent to disrupt the board will be weeded out so people can enjoy talking about football and stuff.
To get us back on topic ,from what you have been told from various sources what are the yanks intentions for us and why pick Sunderland to do it ?

I’ve fully missed this part.[/QUOTE]
he sold his insurance company and opened another office for his car lease company

What’s Stu opened in Sunderland?

I’ve fully missed this part.

He’s opening a car leasing operation up here. I don’t know if it’s a replacement for the one in oxford or in addition to it. They were advertising for staff the other week.

An office for his insurance company .

Again, more signal of him being tied to the area and more, for me, a sign that he’s confident the finance is incoming.

He’s never once tried to suggest he can run the club solely without investment.

Folk can pick away looking for the downside all they like, to a degree it’s the Mackem way.

I’m having every little twitch as another positive myself. I’ve no reason to question Smug having interacted with the fella for the best part of a decade.

I’m sticking with ‘it’s happening’.

To put this into context I'll explain how I know.

This isn't for my benefit, or ego boosting, but you may be interested.

When I did the bodyguard work, in the south of France, we'd look after clients flying in for the Cannes Film Festival, Monaco F1, etc. We'd obviously have to know who we were collecting from the airport, who they were with, which hotel/villa they were staying at, which events they'd be attending, which guests they'd be receiving, etc etc etc. It's not just standing around in dark glasses :)

The paperazzi will pay big money for that kind of info.

They'll also give blood if the security team allow them to attend private parties in private villas where the super rich and famous let their hair down and gossip.

Now, I'm too professional to allow paps too much information, but i did make friends with a lovely woman who was the 'Style' correspondent for a major newspaper, like the Mail but not the Mail.

She was as glamourous as the stars and totally discreet, many of the celebs knew and trusted her in any case. I'd make sure she knew who was in town and where they'd be. I enabled her access to the parties and balls for no reward except I had a massive crush on her I suppose.

We've kept in touch discreetly, as she's married now, but chat about all kinds of things. I no longer have much to give her, info wise, but she digs around in the football department for gossip for me.

Sadly she's given me much more ITK stuff on Newcastle as they're currently bigger news. But she did tell me that their junior sports reporters are despicable little creeps who join forums and create mischief. These are the ones, not respected journalists, who I'm talking about.

Hope that helps.
