I’d rather give the kids more exposure and go out but I get your point <ok>
I didn't really mean it - I can't imagine the club did it deliberately.
Two questions arise from this though. How can the club not know the rules pertaining to these circumstances, and aren't these things routinely checked by the authorities when player lists are submitted?

It will likely be a minor clerical error and we’ll receive a small fine. However, because it’s us, it will be a major issue and the press and pundits will lay it on thick.

The FA ****ed up, as per.

Paperwork submitted 3 months ago not yet processed.
So the club knew they didn't have the paperwork back and still played him?

The next round is worth a lot of money to a club like MK and you have stolen that just so you can throw the next game.

You realise Sunderland played an ineligible player for 4 games, 3 in the prem and 1 in LC a few years ago and got a small fine.

Im pretty sure a 20 minute cameo in a LC game isn’t going to supersede that precedent and get us expelled.

And how do you know we play to throw the game v arsenal?

Because like Spurs, you have bigger fish to fry <whistle>

Bit strong that lad, it's not like we fielded messi in the last 10 minutes so we could get a result
