Answer to our man ....

"He reckons the takeover "could" happen in two weeks but they are looking into all areas of the club. "

" New owners clearly not sure if they want him and Methven. "

Have they asked their question of whether it’s Donald and/or Methven holding it up?

Not yet but he's said he's not sure him and Charlie are wanted
Works for me to be honest!

I said when this was first mentioned way back in August that the only reason I could foresee this not happening would be because of the current owners - these billionaires won’t f**k about as they showed with Ashley at Newcastle.

Also calls into question why Donald sold the insurance company if he isn’t guaranteed to be at the club.

When can we start chanting for Stewart Donald to go back to Eastleigh?

Could all go pear shaped... hope it doesn't, but if Donald has to go he has to go.

If it is going to take a couple of weeks.. it is still all up in the air.

I'm guessing it's a lot closer but that's the perfect thing to say to kill things off for now. I pray.

That's the first thing I thought mate.

If he looks at his watch, instead of his diary, people would be hysterical.

Someone leaked this to the fanzines etc and gave the BBC the 4 days line.

That someone is playing games, must be chaos at the SOL at the moment.

Many new posters won’t know this lad but was thinking of Billy (never met him) and used to laugh at his posts and how blunt and straight he was, no in between. He was an absolute cracking poster for years on here. I Hadn't posted for a while and when I did I asked about him and was told he had passed. He would have loved all this, I love the potential we face but would have loved seeing some of the faces from those we have lost who were die hard safc, an opportunity to see something like this is unreal.
Alright joe, really sorry to learn this news, had many a barny with billy, especially when I was a moderator, quite gutted tbh may he rest in peace
