So any of you people ever watched a movie with a kid in it? How many movies you seen when a child is acting out horrific life scenarios?

How many have thought....poor child being exploited to make money in adult company I'm switching it off...infact...I don't want to subscribe to any movie channels I'm so appalled.

You don't get it do you bruv, she is doing the work of the politicians, getting over their message (provided by the IPCC) on the world stage (would you be invited to speak?) with the emotional advantage of her age.
She is being used so that when the bite starts there will be no kickback, people will say "Greta got them to do this" and be happy that she was heard.

 

I think most people care about the environment tbf, and I don't care about the girl having a pop if that's what she wants to do. She certainly doesn't prick my conscience, but I take your point. I'm a realist and all her squawking will mean absolutely nothing, however cute it seems.

I was mildly aware having seen and heard little bits...but this thread is where it's really stared at me.

 

Was you worried that the world would end (from the age of eight) if you didn't go to work?
Greta is 16 and say's we have stolen her childhood, well somebody certainly did if she has been worried about this from eight years old.

 

All i remember is leaving school at 15 and being totally pissed off, when i found out it was against the law to start work full-time, until you was 16!

You are totally missing the point, I have no problem with her but she is being controlled and it has ruined her life.

Read my previous posts, she is putting out the official line and nothing more (not her fault, she has been conditioned for it), used and terrified of the future just to get people on side for future changes just because people don't trust the message when it comes from the state funded IPCC (little wonder when they have ostracised any and all dissenters in the field).

 

It's a line in her script mate, delivered with tears and emotion.
