Being a country boy it's a well known fact that unless you rotate crops with herds of animals the land becomes baron.

If we all went vegan and didn't have pigs and cows ****ting the ground would eventually run out of nutrients.

Hydrogen cells are coming. The emissions from vehicles with Hydrogen engines is water. There's still the equation of what energy sources are used to produce the vehicles in the first place of course.

But the technology is there. The political will fuelled by the interests of the fossil fuel industry isn't ... yet.

Unless you live off grid grow and kill your own food ,don't use electricity and don't drive your big old ****ty van or fly off on holiday then you Sir are full of piss and wind.

 

There's one golf course owner in Scotland who we could get shot off which would solve a multitude of problems.

Hydropower counts for a large percentage of Scots renewable energy tbh. The lack of investment in the national grid doesn't help. Turbines have to be shut down because the antiquated National Grid cant cope with out put.

We're all living in a world where we're reliant on fossil fuel energy. That's what we've been born into and have been told is progress. It's only now we're beginning to realise the consequences of our actions. So some of us are taking action on a scale and level that is realistic to our circumstances.

We're not going to extricate ourselves from this situation overnight. But I think it's important to begin to start making the changes that you can.

 

Too much essential work has been put off for too long all over the country.
