Couldn’t watch anything last night......night shifts.
Please don’t get me wrong, I hate the Tories as much as the most.....but I’m not that much of a hypocrite to think that people like Bercow and Swinson and men and women of virtue.

Seems there are many who are hypocrites.

Turkish, like I said to Oslo a few weeks ago when he went full on psycho rant.....you really need to calm down mate. This is just a message board for each of us to spout out our political bullshit and wind up the other side. We really shouldn’t take it that seriously ‘cos it ain’t good for our health.

We need a group meditation, repeat after me...... ‘Om mani padne Hum’

It's all over the news now. I don't think I've said anything about their "virtue", in fact I don't recall posting about Swinson at all. Have they done something invirtuous? Hypocrites?

There is a choice Wherever. In saying that the Supreme court judges have made a mistake Johnson is effectively saying that the law of the land is wrong - because all the judges have done is to interpret the law and Bojo is not a lawyer. So he has said that the law is wrong - which is the same as saying that he believes that politics and government should be above the law of the land. Whilst Bojo is not a Fascist this is language which every good Fascist would understand, because they like to be above the law as well. So the question is 'do the electorate want to be governed by someone who believes he is above the law for the next 5 years' ? Bit of a no brainer really. In contrast most of what the electorate knows about Corbyn has been distorted by the media - according to studies by the LSE 80% of reporting about Corbyn is either misquoted, or does not represent the true picture of what he has said. What we do know about Corbyn is that he is always respectfull in parliament and does not resort to insult.

Dear god, some still don’t get it, Boris broke no law, what Boris did was constitutionally allowed and is actually done all the time by Prime ministers in parliament, the Supreme Court said what Boris did was unlawful In their interpretation of the law, secondly you obviously didn’t see Comrade Jezzbollah Corbynski’s rant last night in Parliament which was no where even close to respectful, but then again maybe your interpretation is different to everybody else’s, you know a bit like the Supreme Court judges.
Remember opinions are like arseholes, everybody has one and no two are the same.

The Supreme court of the UK decided that Boris did break the law Turkish - or do you have a better understanding of law than they do ? I'm sure that every criminal in the UK would like to be able to dispute the judges decision on these things but they don't have that luxury - but the PM thinks that he has this right ? Is this not tantamount to the belief that he considers himself as being above the law ?

There is a slight semantic difference in that ''unlawfull'' means either not authorized or that there is no existing law which allows the action - whereas ''breaking the law'' means knowingly going against an existing law. Essentially they are the same thing ie. not living according to the law. In either case Bojo still believes he is above such matters of detail - or worse he does not acknowledge the separation of powers essential to any democracy.
