Let’s have this discussion in January. We’re only half a dozen games in and a few looked cooked yesterday. It’s going to be a long season.
BREAKING: Liverpool are poised to strike terms with Nike to become their new kit suppliers in a deal that would be a British football record, writes @DominicKing_DM
New balance have matched the offer and are taking the matter to court, as they believe it triggers a clause. Liverpool want Nikes global network though
@JamesPearceLFC is now reporting that New Balance have matched Nike’s £70m a year offer and has activated an alleged extension clause meaning they’ll continue as supplier beyond 2020. Liverpool insisting it’s not the case and are now heading into high court as a result.
I like the NB kit and don't really like Nike but it'll make the club a big chunk of money if they go Nike.
I don't like Nike at all but nor can I remember the last Liverpool shirt I bought, must be at least 5yrs ago.
I don't buy kits so they can do whatever's best for the club, the money and legal ramblings that go on really don't interest me.
Please! I want Nike! We need the biggest and best representing us. NB need to stop acting like a jealous ex girlfriend and just let go
Alisson, yes, but we actually signed a backup for that spot so no worries. Keita is barely part of the squad as we've not really seen him play, no real loss. It's the players we don't have proper backups for - there's a lot of them.
We have cover for CB & MF and apart from Origi ,and many on here don't consider him proper backup , thats it apart from untried youth.
Lijnders in the Press Conference today said the squad was kept small over the summer as the coaches wanted room for young players. They are optimistic about the youth coming through.
