You post seriously dumb stuff and get aggressive on a football messageboard regularly and I mock it lightheartedly rather than reply in kind. If that’s arrogant then I guess I’m arrogant. I should add I’m sure you’re lovely. Politics doesn’t bring out the best in many of us.
They will all benefit from living in the areas where all the best schools are and sod everybody else. Socialism seems to be all about dragging everything down to the lowest possible denominator.
Sod anyone with ambition, then again with everyone on universal benefit no one will need an education...
That’s the big issue for me. There’s a gross inequality in the level of education a kid has access to depending on where they live. Don’t personally agree with abolishing private schools and don’t see how it could help state schools to do so though I guess that’s not the aim.
What is seriously dumb about telling someone what my street has turned into, and what do you arrogantly find so amusing about it, leave your little paradise and come live up here for five minutes, soon knock the arrogance out of your sails dealing with the crap that goes on that me and my disabled wife have to deal with on a daily basis caused by the charming neighbours, using the roof of my convertible as a ****ing trampoline, stealing my garden furniture and burning it when they’ve done with it,taking clothes of the washing line and blatantly wearing them in front of you, and the ****ing old bill are useless, don’t appear to be interested in “minor” crimes, so maybe the local economy is good because I spend a ****ing fortune replacing all the stuff they steal and break. So please excuse me if my outlook on life differs from your cosy existence and you find it amusing and light hearted to laugh at it, but I don’t really give a flying **** about you and your liberal left lifestyle ok.
I sympathise, honestly, though I refuse to believe none of them have jobs, as you said earlier and it’s that sort of hyperbole that undermines what are probably some fair points. There’s one organisation I’d blame if your local area has gone to **** and it’s not the EU.
Isn’t the problem, so I’m led to believe, that many private schools use various loop holes to gain tax benefits eg claim charitable status ? I might be wrong of course.
I thought that was being scrapped. By all means fix loopholes if it’s worth doing so but don’t see what is gained by it, as much as I like the idea of Eton being turned into flats.
Turkish, you need to contact the government of this country. If they dont have jobs and contribute, they can be removed after 3 months. That is our immigration law mate. But and it's big BUT, they dont really tell people this and they dont ever enforce it, instead they use propaganda and fake news to influence people into hating the EU. Now that is ****ing hilarious. The city next to me is full of unemployed non EU nationals, street gangs full of hatred and violence who actually hate our values. They're the horrible ****s who should be leaving but we cant blame the EU for that!
I don’t understand the Left’s (and, it would seem, the ****ing Tories) opposition to Grammar Schools, or some modern equivalent. Whilst I get the arguments about different kids developing at different speeds, so reticence at selection at aged eleven, it surely can’t be beyond the intelligence of your average Minister to drum up a system that recognises this too. There has to be selection by ability, and this has to happen at a reasonably young age in order to fast track those with the greatest potential and to produce the leaders, entrepreneurs and captains of industry of the future. If we don’t invest in the sharpish then what’s the point? Give me selection by ability over selection by wealth any day. And we do have selection by wealth right now, where those families wealthy enough to live in the right school catchments get their kids the better education. How do the bright kids in poorer areas access the same? Right now, these kids are probably forced into substandard schools in poorer areas where their progress is stymied by the **** culture in the classrooms.
