Atmosphere was appalling on SaturdayThat’s pretty much what the stadium looks like a few minutes before kick off on any match day.
you really cant treat fans like **** for 5+ years and then tell them they've changed the name back to Hull City and expect them to come back in their droves

They have successful teams. It's not really hard to fathom, is it?Cracking atmosphere at Charlton now
Leeds seems rather good also
Both had brilliant owners for a long time tho
Oh hang on

Maybe you’re struggling with that
Well In the 20’sTheir current gate’s about 50% up on the Bates era.

Not even mimicking Charlie Mulgrew's ludicrous screaming when tackled could lift the gloom.

NoWould Henriksen be able to play up front as a target man? He has a lot of technical quality. Am worried, like most City fans about Eaves just not being good enough at this level
Even Fettis managed to score when he was chucked up front as a sub, but realistically it wont happen I suppose. I heard Burnsies comment on the radio about Eaves getting his mind right, I mean he has one job really so its hard not to get frustrated. I don't reckon the likes of Waggy had to get their minds right back in the day, just stick the ball in the onion bag!No
No he wouldn’t
I have often wondered, in my down time, if Waggy would have been so successful today as he was in his pomp? I mean carrying the weight he did in those days. I don't suppose he'd get away with it today, however the way he used his weight was one of his key attributes. Would todays defenders have him bottled up? Lets be fair he didn't have a lot of pace.…..Waggy had to get their minds right back in the day, just stick the ball in the onion bag!
On the other hand would he have been carrying weight if he’d played today or would he have been picked up as a youngster and coached in terms of diet & speed tooI have often wondered, in my down time, if Waggy would have been so successful today as he was in his pomp? He'd have certainly made far more money and he wouldn't have had to work at Fenners or run crummy pubs, to earn a crust once his playing days were over.
That’s what I neededOn the other hand would he have been carrying weight if he’d played today or would he have been picked up as a youngster and coached in terms of diet & speed too
We’ll never know
