This is why I think Johnson’s plan to take seats off Labour in the North of England will backfire. Just because people in post-industrial towns often voted for Brexit, does not mean they will vote Tory.
Meanwhile, in the South, many traditional Tory voters are disgusted with Johnson’s lurch to the right. Most of those people won’t vote Labour either though, so it all gets interesting.
London is a law unto itself, thank god, and is almost a Tory free zone already. Boris Johnson’s Uxbridge constituency is close to the capital, and Labour will target it. If Farage’s mob fields a candidate there, that could split the right wing vote, and the Blond clown could find himself out on his arse.
I just hope that you are correct. However, I am not sure what will happen to Labour and in the south people are ingrained to vote Consevative. The battle grounds will be the commuter belts and the north east.
Anything could happen, basically. Interesting times.
What I don’t think will happen is a Tory majority, whatever the polls are currently saying; Boris is dead in the water, I don’t see any way back to credibility for him; beyond that I have no idea
And now (coinciding with the release of his new book) Cameron is slagging off Johnson and Gove. Pot kettle black. Shysters the lot of them.
I think he was wrong for calling the referendum and I think he has caused this whole mess by then not following it through. However, when it comes to integrity, I would have him as PM over Buffoon any day. I don't think he is a cheat and a lier.
As you say though they are all useless.
Not sure if I`m glad or not that you didn`t include Scotland, Wales and NI.

The Remain Alliance will be giving people advice on tactical voting in every seat. Where I live, for example, there is absolutely no point in voting Labour, but if Labour voters switch to Lib Dem, the sitting Tory will lose. Conversely, if all Lib Dem and Green voters switch to Labour in Uxbridge, Boris will be out on his ear, which would be a huge prize. A 5% swing is enough in that seat!Electorally my take on it is this. Some Labour voters in the North and midlands may drift to the Tories, but for many it will just be too hard to stomach and they will either vote for Farage or stay at home. Scotland will revert almost entirely to the SNP and the Lib Dems will win seats around London and in remain constituencies in the South. It's going to mean that Boris needs to win seats somewhere, but just where is difficult to see where. My best guess is that we are heading for a hung parliament with quite a significant number of SNP and LD seats. The LD declaration of just revoking Art50 is a good move as it marks out territory for Remainers.

I would ****ing love it if Boris got unseated.

Integrity? It's all relative and anyone compared with the current lot can't help but come out on top
He talked like a Liberal and his policies were anything but, another Old Etonian with scant regard for real people
He just came in a shinier package!
Lol I heard that in the voice of Kevin Keegan
Yeah, that’s how I said it. Curly perm and all.
