£900k rent ? Plus rates ?
That's one hell of a peppercorn.
Rent paid to themselves? What does SMC then pay to HCC? Next to nothing? Or?
I've just decided to charge myself £90k a year to live in my house, I'm loaded now.
Declared attendance 12,165, actual attendances now confirmed 9,477 (2,688 imaginary friends at every game).
Can I ask what the benefit of claiming greater attendances is financially ? I'm not financially savvy in these matters so dont know whether it means they benefit from tax perks or such ?
As Al says, there is no financial benefit, it's just about trying to pretend things aren't as bad as they quite obviously are.
I'm the same when it comes to money matters, but I'd guess they're too proud (only God knows what of) and stubborn to to do anything about it. (Like take a loss and move on).
The Allams are both dumb and stubborn, a desperate combination.
We're stuck with them until someone offers them a hilariously massive offer.
Obviously, that isn't going to happen.
That is now the conclusion I've come to. It wasn't up until the end of this last transfer window, but it is now.
Even if they sell Bowen, Grosicki and Henrikson in January, which I'm sure they'll be wanting to do (again, truth told?) it won't see the back of them. They've missed the peak of the values of those 3.
Then the replacements are looking increasingly L1 standard, including GMcC who, as was it Burnsey or Swanny said post match, appears not to be a tactician. We seem to be getting out thought and out battled by poor teams who have more experience on and off the pitch, but we are managing to cling on because, for now at least, we have Grosicki and Bowen.
If I'm right in understanding the Allams and I think I am, then after the January sales, they'll sell us for whatever they can get.

Be interesting to see what Fc pay in rent to play from the same stadium
I was hoping they'd do that this summer and the only reason I think they didn't is because nobody came in for the players who they would have sold... The form of said players is enough to see bids in Jan otherwise I reckon we are stuck with them as Bowen will have his one year option activated and they will want the £££
