well i was at st james park, maybe wish i didnt.

but wow, at 4-0 up fans started leaving, but it was not as many as the media have said.

the place was still packed, and when it went 4-4 the roof nearly came off.

people have banged on and on about newcastle fans over the years.....i just looked away and said they are the same as any other fans... wow was i wrong.

even at 4-0 when newcastle were attacking the fans were screaming getting behind the team, when barton put away the 1st pen and the noise at 4-1 was crazy, when it went 4-2 my mate turned around said "this aint good" i just laughed and told him to relax it wasnt going to happen.

when it went 4-3 and barton started screaming at the players, most asrenal fans were saying and thinking "please no".

when tiote put away his goal the place was amazing, honestly the goosebumps went up, and i sunk.

my heart nearly stopped when nolan was put through and he mssed, i couldnt imagine the noise if that had of went in.

like i said at the start of this, i didnt really get the fuss over newcastle fans and after yesterday i do, my 1st visit to st james park, and pronbs my last and its one i will never forget.

good luck for the season.

I was watching it on a stream and was quite surprised by the noise even at 4-0. It couldn't have been the away fans because there weren't enough of them and they sit about three miles from the pitch. Great support.

YOU ARE EVIL

I cannot stop listening to the Moritz Volz song and it's your fault for posting it on here

Also, do you reckon Ashley and his Labias were among those who left early? It would be good if they stayed because I don't know how anyone could watch that and not feel some level of affection towards the club afterwards.

Cheers, you were as loud as I've heard any away fans this year in the first half, but never heard a peep from you's after Diaby got sent off.

Apart from Blackpool, all the away fans have been ****.
