I don't think many Gooners would disagree that we won't finish ahead of Utd, City or Chelsea this season.
Cesc's comments are a valid observation of the situation.
What's the problem?
I don't think many Gooners would disagree that we won't finish ahead of Utd, City or Chelsea this season.
It would be like Modric joining Chelsea and then having a pop at us by saying, "Spurs can't now win the title!"

Cesc Fabregas said:"I'd never speak one bad word about Arsenal. I want them to be successful as much as every single fan. That's not why I left, it was never in my mind. Arsenal made me who I am today and nobody will ever change that."
I don't get why Fabregas has said anything at all.
It seems to me that he's just trying to justify his move to Barcelona, which would have been more easily done by just saying that we wanted to join the best team around and go home.
Would it have killed him to have just said that the club could still compete and that they have a very good manager?

Not really, Piskie.
As you've pointed out yourself, your board is particularly negative.
You don't find them controversial as you agree with them, Piskie.
They're clearly unnecessary and unhelpful, though.
The fact that he felt in necessary to clarify his comments would appear to back that up.

YOU called it a problem...I call it hilarious!![]()
No I didn't - I asked a question 'What's the problem?'
You've failed to answer that question.
