Now that the CI site has finally given up the ghost I expect the Gullster to be heading for these shores.
Is it finally an ex-website? Not checked for ages - used to be good, years ago. The Gull most welcome from me, though suspect he's already here.
Myself, my good friend Geoffrey and the vicar once set about a bottle of Balvenie Doublewood. Don't remember too much apart from at some point we buried a deceased budgie. Would highly recommend the stuff at £39 a bottle.
Limoncello tastes like washing up liquid, you ruined your Hull brambles. Should have gone for a bit of evap.
I did drink half a bottle of Brut once, testing to see if there was enough alcohol in it to get you pissed, must have been about 1978. The joys of youth.
I wouldn't bother booking 2 weeks on Capri if I were you then. It's all they sell... Limoncello liqueur. Limoncello prosecco. Limoncello fudge. Limoncello tea. Limoncello shampoo. Limoncello perfume. The list goes on. And you can't get a decent pint for love nor money. And it's really hilly. And it's full of tourists. Nice view from the top of the mountain mind.
As I’m not supposed to drink alcohol, it’s probably the ideal place for me to book a two week holiday...
Al contrario, cario mio. They were ****ing lovely, cold lemony ice cream and hot freshly picked local brambles. A delightful fusion of zesty ice cream and tart local berries, to create a fusion of warm fruity jus Cucina povera but with a nod towards local sensibilities. You'd pay £14 for that at 1884.
Better off staying in Sorrento, day trips to Pompei, Capri, Erculaneo and Napoli itself. Occhio ai scugnizzi!
