Defence is at sixes and sevens today, somebody needs to take this by the scruff of the neck and get them organised

A carbon copy of the first half against Inter....when Sonny came on at half time to liven things up.

We only have Eriksen that you feel could change this.

It’s just so predictable and looks really comfortable for them at the moment

 

Queue Levy - quickly signs Llorente up during the break and comes on second half.

It's agony Ivy. Poor young Peters seems totally lost.Getting a lot of the ball but doesn't know what to do with it.Sissoko seems a little lost too....and our defence without Jan....well.

So first half of the new season almost done and it’s as you were. Toothless. Out of ideas. Flat. Predictable.

Kane has a sitter and then remembers it’s August.

 

Very disjointed from top to bottom. Need to see NDombele get on the ball in the middle third more, that might speed up the play a bit. Eriksen for Lamela or Sissoko perhaps? Might give us some more inventiveness in the final third.

 

Poor half...we need to ramp it up a gear from midfield.

Villa are extremely compact and that's nullifying our strength.

Wingbacks need to be more clinical with the crosses and midfield needs to spread it asap.... very poor
