So Eriksen was carrying a groin strain last season, no wonder he bottled tackles and couldn't take a corner.

"Daniel Levy here in Shanghai to announce a new 8-year, £320m sponsorship deal with AIA.
Worth around £40m a year until 2027 — in line with Chelsea, Arsenal & Liverpool deals."

1. Oh dear, Spurs haters. :)

2. Spurs need to sign up Sonny long-term, and get AIA to have him as the
face of any of their ads in SE Asia that involve Spurs.

A look at the shirt sponsorships across the PL is instructive. Our permanent move into the Big 6 is confirmed and we have a deal the same size as Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool and 4x that of West Ham, the next biggest one...

Extending this agreement mirrors our long term arrangement with Nike. The next decade is paramount to our future. Once we get an NFL franchise and establish the stadium as a top venue for boxing/concerts, our future is guaranteed financially.

We need to up our current income for that 10 years, which allows us to wait to nail a real premium on the stadium sponsorship and keep pushing forward on the pitch. Also, it takes away the need to be renegotiating existing deals every couple of years, leaving us free to spend time on bringing in additional partners, which is what United have been so very good at.

Still one space for a non home grown player I think if we want to sign Llorente. But someone would have to miss out in the CL squad.

Arsenal seem to have 19 non home grown players in their squad which is ok because two are under 21. But those two would need to be registered in the EL squad as they have not been on the books for two years. I wonder who they will leave out.

Two goalkeepers, Bellerin and Maitland Niles so i think they use all four slots.
Maitland Niles is 21 and he's been at the club for more than two years, so he doesn't use one.
Martinez and Macey? I wonder if either of them are any good? I guess we'll find out, seeing as Cech left and they didn't replace him.
