I said that for effect! It wasnt me that separated us out in the first place.. We are all equal Apart from the inhabitants of a place called sunderland
Being serious for a minute, there is obviously a correlation between financial clout and success on the pitch ... Chelsea, Citeh, PSG the 2 Spanish giants prove the point ... The only thing that I find irritating is when fans of clubs that have enjoyed enormous success built on foundations of being able to buy the cream of the best talent, then start bleating when a new kid on the block starts doing exactly the same ...
It's this fit and proper person test that really takes the piss. Lawrence Bassini took us to the brink and declared himself bankrupt. 7 years later he's allowed to enter deep into negotiations to buy Bolton. They should enforce the rules properly or stop pretending they care FFS!

There's a massive difference in the respect you get as a club in the way you go about things when you have £. And also how you got that £ Just look at how much the chavs and city are admired. For all their successes no one likes them bar their own.
I agree ! Ive been waiting 6 weeks for the premier league to pass a mythical oil rich arab as a fit and proper person. Its a joke!
To be fair most neutrals wanted City to win the league last season when it came down to a straight shoot out between them and Liddypool.
