...The Untold Story Of Neil Franklin...

You must log in or register to see images

It's finally here, the best book on Neil Franklin, since the last one (if there was one).

It's in stock for immediate delivery and can be ordered here - https://englandsgreatestdefender.com/buy/

Or pick a copy up in person at the official launch at Waterstones in Hull at 6.30pm on Friday 16th August, all are welcome, the more the merrier.

Members of the Franklin family will be attending and as long as everything goes to plan, the family of a City legend will be very generously returning one of Neil's England caps to them.

Please buy one, or junior says he can't afford to pay for the away tickets this season. Ta.

26,000 turned up at BP for his first game for the reserves.

Can't see that many turning up for Burnley or Norwich Reserves

Sunderland averaged more than that in the 1950s for reserve games.

Getting more than a town with a population of 70,000. A great achievement. Of course they didn’t have rival attractions like beaches taking people away.

Please start a Sunderland Reserves thread if you wish to discuss attendances/fixtures of that team.

Please start a Burnley and Norwich thread if you want to discuss attendances/fixtures of those clubs.

There are several threads on this forum already upon which posters may exchange stats on these topics.

A secret friend.
