I live under the North Stand![]()
I'd be careful mate, that one can't be far off collapse.

Best stadium on the south coast![]()
Think Brighton win that particular race tbf.
Yeah tbf it does look nice.
You been in?

Proper old ground !Best stadium on the south coast![]()
Yeah went the last two seasons and for a ground that's out the way a bit think the trains to and from the centre work really well. They leave the concourses open after the game as well so you can have a drink and some grub while the queues die down.
Like the fact it's single tier behind each goal with 2/3 on either side, gives it a unique look.
Never been to Fratton.
Proper old ground !
I remember going down to watch a Friday night game a few days before Xmas in 1979.
It's snowed like bloody hell and I was freezing !
The lines from Waterloo where sticking because of the snow so got to game late .Keith Mellor was in goal !
After the game we had to walk all the way to the harbour to get the ferry .
Bloody cold night !

Funny how everyone’s memories of a trip to Pompey include bad weather, **** public transport, misery and general grimness.
Usually at some point you will also get offered out for a fight by some toothless old bearded loon, who looks about 90. Best to decline the offer, btw.
I liked going to the Dell. It was a change from Old Trafford.
I was 14 so it was ****ing ace .
Couldn't feel my feet though !
Funny how nobody really remembers the trips to St Mary's.
Sold your sole when you got rid of The Dell.

When the Woking fans sang "you can stick your bell up your arse", the Pompey fans cheered.
