Interesting about Kingsley. He has been poor for the most part since day one. If we can get rid and bring someone better in it'll make a huge difference to our defence.
whilst Kingsley has been disappointing, it doesn't help his case with Grosicki refusing to chase back and refusing to have any physical contact with another player as far as challenging and tackling anyone is concerned
I see McLoughlin played a full 90 minutes for St Mirren against Hibs, losing 1-0, with Hibs scoring late on in the 85th minute. He seems to have had a good game.
Nobody seemed too bothered about us not trying to sign Kane but must say I thought he was our best and most energetic fullback last season and would have been happy to have him here. Not totally convinced by either full back. Eric seems a good character and steady away but short on pace and doesn't overlap very effectively.
If it's true and Kingsley has been made available for transfer then fair play to McCann. I like the fact he's bold enough to realise a player isn't good enough and does something about it.
.... or maybe Kingsley isn't settled here and he wants away? Do we actually know which way round it is (assuming the new rumour is even right)?
Derby County have rejected a £1.5m bid from Brentford for left-back Max Lowe. Marcelo Bielsa says he won't be happy if Kemar Roofe leaves the club (BBC 19 minutes ago). Kemar Roofe is to undergo a medical today in Belgium ahead of his transfer move to Anderlecht (Yorkshire Post 9 minutes ago).
Man Utd have turned down a bid from Real Madrid for Paul Pogba. The offer was reportedly £27.6m plus James Rodriguez.
