A private problem perhaps and nothing to do with Saints? Hope not too much falls on Ralph now...if it carries on at this rate he will be chairman of the board and office cleaner in his spare time
Just looking at the Telegraphs football place prediction type thing. Although it’s based on algorithms and prior form, etc it provides a platform of sorts for thinking about the season ahead. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/footbal...ts-data-predict-premier-league-201920-season/ Although my heart wants them to finish higher for all the right reasons ( largely the potential of the front 5/6 players ) my head says this is probably reasonable bearing in mind where we are now with the personnel left. Discussion/Banter-worthy....?
Seen a few predictions and they all have us in the relegation mix. We were all concerned we might struggle to keep hold of Ralph, but in the general football media and fandom he has barely raised an eyebrow.
https://www.freiepresse.de/sport/fussball/von-lok-zwickau-in-die-premier-league-artikel10554317 Here's an interview in German from the start of July where Rohl talks about how he's looking forward to the new season with us. Wonder what happened between then and now.
Everyone needs to stop panicking and fearing the wurst. I heard he just misses a good old German sausage.
After reading that, I can only assume he's had a family situation that took him back to Germany. Unless he's had a major bust-up with Ralph, with no going back, which I honestly couldn't comprehend. And sober professional reasons don't tend to be so dramatic. Either he will return after a time or something very important is preventing him from being here, in my opinion.
BT Sport have created their prediction for the season, 'The Script' Here's the Saints season previewed: https://sport.bt.com/the-script/the...ng-to-google-opta-and-squawka-S11364379130978 Whilst clearly designed to generate discussion and debate ahead of the new season, I too have been worried since the fixtures came out, we could be in for a very tough start, we have to either pick up away points from the start OR beat some big teams early on at home if we are not to get stuck near the bottom....
Wait so that says we'll win at the Etihad but still be in threat of relegation with two games? Ooooooook.
Getting a bit fed up with Saints games rearranged for TV. Now Chelsea and Leicester home games moved to Sunday and Friday. Why always our home games? So annoying for a season ticket holder!
