I wouldn't have been against Sussex winning that (most important thing is that Surrey didn't). Firstly because Sussex have already taken three points from us. Secondly because I can't see Sussex failing to make the top four with their bowling attack. So long as one of Wright and Salt come off with the bat, their bowlers will win them most games. But without Roy (and even Burns), Surrey are vulnerable. As much as I'm not happy about Morris or Fuller batting up at 6 for us, I'd be even less happy about Tom Curran batting up at 6. So much pressure on Finch. I see Surrey winning matches, but I also see them struggling to make top four. But yeah, a tie is alright.
And now that Sussex have Alex Carey going all guns for them - after Australia amazingly left him out of their Ashes squad - they really look like the team to beat in my book. Somerset need a tight last three overs here.
So Somerset need 20 off 3 balls, only for Topley to bowl a wide and then a waist high no ball. Good thing for him that he duly then got those last 3 balls right, but what was he thinking? Just bowl it in a length and get hit into the stands if you must.
Confirmed England XI: Rory Burns Jason Roy, Joe Root (capt), Joe Denly, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler (wk), Jonny Bairstow, Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, Stuart Broad, James Anderson.
https://www.bbc.com/sport/av/cricket/49184741 Im moving to Romania, I might get a game. Love his attitude I have seen much worse here in Colombia, we have several clubs here and I was facing one Colombian guy who took what looked like a 20 metre run up, come sprinting in, come to a stuttering halt and then basically fling the ball
How's Mike Proctor's bowling action? Yes that is at Southampton. When it was just around the corner from The Dell::
He was caught behind, but he’s not out, because neither the umpire nor any England player was sure about the nick, which Ultraedge was.
