Came in from work Had 4 hotdogs with fried onions and ketchup...and two large cans of Heineken Then decided I should go for a run Back now after realising whilst running that basically I’m just in training for outrunning a mass shooting at an American Sports Stadium!
Heineken is good for a pre-run hydrater. Could have done with a couple more hot dogs though & mustard (the US squirty type) on top of the ketchup.
That feeling when you see a thread title and think "hmnn, this could be interesting". But then you start reading it ......
Colman’s English on Gammon or a Burger but it’s got to be squirty yank stuff on a hot dog. It mixes well with the ketchup & onions.
I’m not in my usual contemplation cubicle either. It’s not been a good morning all round. Hope we can make up. Maybe over a hot dog X
English mustard on everything (that’s an appropriate foodstuff for the application of mustard). All other mustards are like Welshmen: uninspiring, unpleasant and unwanted, especially when spread liberally over a rump of lamb. American mustard is watery, weak and overly yellow. French mustard is vinegary filth. A country gets a mustard which reflects its national character, I guess.
I like really hot chilli sauce but have never got on with hot mustard (and definitely not wasabi), I like wholegrain in small quantities and also mustard mayo.
