I shot 74 today, some great shots but putting is pants from five feet, missed four putts from this distance, could have got a 70 if I could putt better.

It's good to see the Stevie B feel good factor having a positive effect already.
There's a good chance you'll be hitting sub 70s by the start of the season at this rate.
I'm certainly getting plenty of practice, sub-70 isn't far off. Golf is a lot easier if you repeatedly hit the fairways and even easier if you putt well 
One thing I laugh at is the huge amount of clubs and gear there is out there, most of it unnecessary. I paid about £600 for ping clubs, a calloway driver, an Odyssey putter and a bag and trolley. My improvement is down to taking lessons and a lot of practice, not buying some adjustable driver for £300, wtf!

Yes golf is back, in fact has it ever been away? I've ditched my Ping irons for a set of Titliest AP2 irons, quite a difference and I expect my score to drop even more now. If I improve my score by three or four I will be shooting par, this has caused quite a lot of bitching from some of the less gifted golfers at my club. Pussies.

74 this morning, missed five birdie putts ffs. No drives off the fairway, beautiful play but should be better! Splitting my round down, I hit 18 shots of the tees, 22 irons on the fairway and around the greens, and 34 putts. I've got to get those putts down to 31 or 32.

What a nine holes I've had tonight at my local club, controlled power/skill, shot 4, 4, 4, 3, 6, 4, 4, 2, 2, for a two under par 33. Its been coming for a while. Mental feeling like.
