How come Trippier has moved for such a (relatively) low fee? I really rated the chap in our last World Cup:

I agree FML and would have loved to have seen him at CR, but we probably wouldn't have been able to offer much game time if that's what he wants and I can see WBA challenging for promotion in the coming season.Aden Flint to Cardiff feels a really good transfer. I think he fits so well to Cardiff's model, and the way Warnock sets up.
I also see that Ajayi looks like joining WBA, which would be gutting. I would really, really like him at Norwich. Around 1.3M as well....Surely we could afford that! It's an area we need depth in. Can play CB and CDM, and he can score goals from Midfield or playing at the back from set-pieces.
Also, League 1 to Premiership, he'd be hungry to impress, but might not kick off if he isn't starting every game straight away.
And following on from the NUFC story - https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/foo...rop-legal-threat-over-steve-bruce-exit-485745

A plea from Gary Gower to help fund MFW - In order to help MyFootballWriter thrive we need a little help, so for as little as the price of half a pint of beer, we’re asking our loyal readers to dip into their pockets and support us directly.
Four monthly membership tiers allow folk to contribute as little or as much as they see fit. If just one reader in 20 went for the lowest -priced model – the $3 a month Patron option – MyFootballWriter would be £1,000 better off and in a far better position to pursue its many ambitions after 13 successful years reporting on all things Norwich City. We know it’s a big ask, and to be honest we’re just grateful that we continue to attract so many readers, but if you a few of you could help us, we pledge to deliver more of the same and more. The Patreon link is here.
Thank you.

As I've mentioned before, I really wish they'd be more transparent with what the funding pays for. This sentence on their Patreon almost suggests it's a retirement fund:A plea from Gary Gower to help fund MFW - In order to help MyFootballWriter thrive we need a little help, so for as little as the price of half a pint of beer, we’re asking our loyal readers to dip into their pockets and support us directly.
