I’d imagine because English players only go for a premium if they stay in England, so that teams can use them towards their home grown quota. Going to any other league they move for their actual value
Partly for the reason given by SuffolkCanary, but also because Spurs's squad is in urgent need of reinvigoration. Given the tight hold Levy keeps on the purse strings, the club has to sell to buy. They already have replacements at RB so turning down 20M and keeping Trippier would simply be biting off their nose to spite their face.
Huddersfield and Paddy Power have in fact confirmed that the kit was a prank to launch a new “saveourshirt” campaign, they believe that there should be no sponsors on the club shirts, the new shirt does not feature the sash or club sponsors name or logo.

Aden Flint to Cardiff feels a really good transfer. I think he fits so well to Cardiff's model, and the way Warnock sets up.
I also see that Ajayi looks like joining WBA, which would be gutting. I would really, really like him at Norwich. Around 1.3M as well....Surely we could afford that! It's an area we need depth in. Can play CB and CDM, and he can score goals from Midfield or playing at the back from set-pieces.
Also, League 1 to Premiership, he'd be hungry to impress, but might not kick off if he isn't starting every game straight away.

I agree FML and would have loved to have seen him at CR, but we probably wouldn't have been able to offer much game time if that's what he wants and I can see WBA challenging for promotion in the coming season.

As I've mentioned before, I really wish they'd be more transparent with what the funding pays for. This sentence on their Patreon almost suggests it's a retirement fund:
"It will give our Editor Gary Gowers the breathing space he deserves after his inspiring time at the helm giving Norwich City the kind of Premier League fan site its supporters deserve."
They don't pay their writers and website costs are negligible, where is the desired £1000 a month going? If it's to help support Conor Southwell and his videographer financially as they try and build a career in sports journalism - fair enough! Be good to spell that out though. If it's funding their 10 month Dereham Town documentary, I'd question the topic, but if it's more about launching careers than cutting edge sports journalism, that makes more sense.
To me it feels very much like they're stuck in the past. Boasting about having a new Youtube channel in 2019 as a sign of modernising comes at least 5 years too late (and "Total Football" as a channel name is generic as hell). The Pinkun have had a Youtube presence since 2011. Patreon has a host of options for rewarding your backers for financial support (bonus articles, early content, a platform for "behind the scenes" content, ad-free feeds...) and they aren't using any of it. Not to mention Patreon takes a cut for doing essentially nothing. Paypal would have worked, no?
AlongComeNorwich have merch and a clear purpose for their funds, TalkNorwichCity have launched careers from a bedroom and appear to have sponsors and ad revenue to support a team of 4, yet their videos only get the same number of views as a MFW article does apparently. How are MFW struggling?
