Pretty sure he's joining "The Athletic", who are launching in the UK soon. They've been poaching all the best local sports reporters from around the country, with "double your money" salary offers.

So he'll probably still be covering NCFC (and maybe F1), but most of it will be behind a paywall unfortunately.

That makes sense and he's young with a young family to support. I think he's very good at his job and enjoyed the feedback that he and PD give on the way back grim DF's match day previews at Colney.

Since our promotion i've heard more and more chat about the lack of funding at our club, how will we compete against mega-rich clubs and questions about when Delia and MWJ will sell up. This short thread on Twitter from Andy Holt (Accrington Stanley) makes you appreciate our set up and how lucky we are to have major share-holders that genuinely care about the club (and community).

Today in 1966 we defeated W Germany 4-2 to win World Cup.
Will we ever win it again??
Not now that VAR is in use. (On the other hand, that talented cheat Maradonna would be remembered for his brilliant second (first proper) goal against us in Mexico rather than "the Hand of God")
