is terrible, cant post a decent thread without a newcastle fan coming on with childish remarks. Mind you some Sunderland fans probably do on their board when they are trying to have a decent debate about yesterday's match and it then turn into a slugfest between "5-1" comments and "selling Carroll" or attendances comments.

Can you not ban other teams from writing on eachother's threads it becoming a joke

My concern today mate, its all very childish today and the good posters are not here. We need to stick to our own boards, cant ban because the banter is good, its the silly slanging thats getting me

We could, but that would be a bit silly wouldn't it mate?

Half the reason i love Sunderland so much is because we have a proper club, and a proper rivalry, as our 'arch enemys'.

I personally love the craic, i also think more often and not when a slanging match ensues, we come out on top, all they've got is attendances, a few campaigns in europe, and a draw with 10 man Arsenal!

There's only one club in the north east that's growing and progressing, and whatever they say, we all know that's a fact.

I don't see Ashley leaving anytime soon, and if he puts the Carroll money back into the team, i'll get NUFC tatooed across my forehead.

Surely a discussion with supporters of other teams should be welcomed,it's just the tossers need sorting quickly by your own boards moderator.I used to go on 606 but got fed up with the wums and mods.Every time Utd and Arsenal win a game they were all over the city boards

Brucey, I posted something on similar lines yesterday under "is it just me", trying to encourage a better level of debate. I agree with Brucey though we need inter-action between clubs boards but getting the balance right is a difficult trick and I don't envy the mods. It only takes one on either side for things to spiral into the type of posts most of us don't want.

sites, will not say the names of these sites, because the same will happen there, shame realy because I want not606 to
be a winner, a good site without mods of the biased nature,

Bologna (1-0 up half time against 10 men), Rangers, AC Milan, and West Ham(the risky one).

    £20 at 22-1. Decent.

inbruce i was just thinking about nufc on our board, whilst i enjoy a bit of a wind up etc, it is only on our board, i have not even looked at their board but there must be some who do,
i wonder if it is mainly us or if the same goes on, on other board, syd any idea?
sometimes the invaders from outside are quite humourous, sometimes not, banning is out of the question, just get a new name and start again, safc and nufc will always be at loggerheads
most of my mates here are nufc, theyr'e not bitter, nuggets on both sides, remember your ignore button mate, dont let it get to you

Bill, and all the Sunderland lads, if there's a serial poster, and he's really spoiling the pleasure for you, then you can come to me, syd or MR, and we'll look at their posting history.

I'm sure i speak for all the mods when i say we'd only consider bans for people who were hurling personal abuse etc, but we're here to make sure this board is attractive to Sunderland fans first and foremost, we certainly don't want our lads to start staying away because of some gobshites.

It IS a 2 way street though lads.

When it comes down to it, (apart from a very few people, where it is kinda malicious) it is just banter, nothing much meant by it just a way of letting off a bit steam, I'm in the midlands and this is pretty much the only forum where I can have a laugh at the mags. We laugh at their wum posters, and snipe back at them and they at us. I'll hold my hands up cos the last few days I've done pretty much nothing but have a pop back at the mags on here, but no-one I aim the posts at should be offended by that we're all adults and know what the score is when we post, someone will disagree with what we write and will try to shoot us down, but as I've said it's mostly good natured

We'll gloat when they lose, sympathise with them over the situation their owner has them in and on rare occasions congratulate them on a game well played.

It's part of the great north east culture and I wouldn't want to change that for anything. so the op has a point but it's in our blood and I wouldn't change it for the world.

I have to say it mate, i never got on yesterday because i was out on the hoy from 12, but what a game of football that was.

We were in beyond in the gate watching it, and even as a Sunderland fan it was a wow moment.

Arsenal's arses dropped as soon as the second goal went in, my pal, Arsenal lad up for the weekend, said as soon as Diaby went they'd **** it up, i said 'here man, it's 4-0!', he walked out at 4-2, we found him slouched against the wall next to tiger tiger at full time, he was in bits. Title gone.

Then Wolves put them back in it.

What a great game we all love, when footballs good, it's just fantastic.

Our boards are nothing next to the so called big 4. I have spent most o the week on there and have banned a few. Arsenal seem to get it of everyone. I want and welcome banter with Newcastle but find some of the insults going around to be very childish and its starting to put me off. There are lots of other forums and it wont take long for manyy to desert if we dont watch out. I dont like this well he did it to me attitude either, maybe I'm just getting old.
