But you have no point, that's the thing you fail to grasp. Until you have seen them play you can't say either way whether they are **** or not, you have no evidence to base any judgement on either way on any new players we bring in. Come back at Christmas and by all means voice your opinions on our new signings, but even then it's probably too early to tell.

Secondly, the transfer window hasn't shut yet, so currently yes we are worse off as a squad, but not by much I would say currently. A mis-firing (more often than not) Perez and Rondon who took half a season to get going are the main outgoings, I don't think we're missing a great deal there if I'm honest. I'm not worried in the slightest, we will bring at least one more player in, probably two...any more will be a bonus I think.

As for being worse off from a coaching aspect, i don't think you need me to tell you that that's a ridiculous statement to make as well, especially as the season hasn't even started yet. I'm by no means suggesting we are gonna be ripping the league up but you're not really giving anybody a chance to prove themselves either way which is just plain stupid in my opinion. The football under rafa at times was mind-numbingly boring and some of his tactical decisions were just plain crazy so despite the Rafa love in he wasn't all that in my opinion. I'm not knocking Rafa here, I really like the bloke and he did a good job, it was hardly exciting to watch though was it? I can't remember too many games where we came away thinking we absolutely battered the opposition. The Everton and Liverpool games last season spring to my mind as being two of the best matches I've watched in a very long time..I'm not saying I want that every week, i'm sure we'd all love it but I want it more than i've seen it previously.

Bruce is a local lad, he gets the club, he gets us and he understands what the club means to us and i've got no doubt he will have the lads fired up for every game, more so the ones at home. Who's to say that he's not the man to make Ashley realise what a potential gold-mine he is sitting on and finally take this club forward ove the next 3-5 years?

Until I've seen otherwise I'll reserve judgement on all of our players, current and and new along with our manager and backroom staff.
I personally would rather us be a little more expansive and play on the front foot. If it’s at the expense of a few hammering then so be it. Rafa kept us up. Grand. But Jesus the football was plain boring as hell.

I think we will play more direct this season. Like a 3-5-1-1 formation with mighy behind joe.

I think defensively we are fine. We could do with a right wing back maybe and a cm.

Defence will go to pot playing more expansive. I agree I’ll take the extra few hankerings for better fußball on the eyes
