Badger, why do your links take an age to appear and sometimes not at all? It's like it always is the case. Hopefully, you are just copying and pasting your links to here, cos if you're using this site's ancient linking software, that would account for it.

I just copy and paste the link.
Anything else would be too technical for me.

Ok. Well, I've turned off every blocker and filter on Firefox, and now I've just taken a screenshot of your 'view from the States' post.

You must log in or register to see images

Do you see anything that I don't?

In my post there is a video to play, where you have space.
I will see if I can copy the link again.

Thats my only issue with the tories -i have an issue with blue!

I have an issue with them being callously indifferent to the suffering of the vulnerable, completely blinded by greed and self interest, and determined to further enrich the wealthy at the expense of the poorest. Other than that, they're alright.

Yes that and more. Bunch of self righteous chocolate starfishes.

It works fine for me Badge, not sure what TSS’s problem is.
As you could see from the screenshot, the link was not appearing for me. It only happens with St Badger's links too. So it was entirely reasonable to first question the link. Although it did cross my mind that nobody else had said so, but I thought I might be the first one to have viewed the post. I'll work on it. Or Chilco, perhaps you can repeat the link and see if that works.

Weird, no idea why you couldn’t see it before!
I think because it was a Facebook link. I used to have a Facebook account. I decided to end it. But it chased me, so I blocked it, closed it, attempted to delete it. Maybe that was the thing. I also allowed FB links in my Ghostery blocker. I'll now reclose that. Here's the same link from Youtube:

I have subsequently noticed that someone said that 'you won't see this on the BBC'.
Of course not. It's also an opinion piece. You would have seen it on This Week or Newsnight, where opinion is included. People have to learn to know the difference between fact and opinion. Not that I disagree with any of this opinion, broadcast here. :emoticon-0103-cool:

At last Jeremy rose to the challenge today. I think the excerpts showed on television this afternoon of Parliament were really quite revelatory. No on believes that Boris will be nothing less than a disaster other than his supporters. Nadim Zadawi was just interviewed on Channel 4 news by John Snow and it was pretty clear to me that he does not believe what he is saying. The cabinet will be a train wreck. By contrast, Corbyn's staid and responsible response was a marked contrast to Johnson's immaturity and I can only see him gaining in credibility in contrast. The country is being run by ideologues who have no grasp of reality and I am staggered just how quickly the new government is under severe criticism. It is fascinating. No one believes Boris and once it is cleat that the EU will not renegotiate, I am confident that those on the Left of the conservatives will appreciate that Corbyn is a safer pair of hands than the current leader of their party.

I strongly feel that something needs to be done to kerb the Conservative Party getting in to power again. Whenever there is a crisis for the Tories, it becomes a crisis for the country. Boris' tenure will be a disaster and a clarion call that this can never be accepted again. I would vehemently argue that the Conservatives need to be banned and they should be treated as being just as dangerous as Stephen Yexley-Lennon and Al Majaroon. Boris will be the strongest argument yet that the Conservative Party needs to be proscribed. I hope whoever comes in power in the Autumn has the balls to do this.
