Yes, but have had to wind my neck in since my op. Occasionally go out a few times in the week, mainly on market days and can have a few half's of Leo. I get a bit squiffy on over three so I tend to keep to that.

Visa extensions are easy peasy, the pound to baht has been a worry for some. No one likes to lose money mate.

The paperwork is easy enough, I suppose it depends on your personal circumstances in the end though. Most of the bad stories here are from people who never had enough money to lose on their adventure. I'll probably walk away one day and go to Veitnam or somewhere else. The mistake people make is piling in everything and not having a walk away point.
