Visa extensions are easy peasy, the pound to baht has been a worry for some. No one likes to lose money mate.

 

Think I must be ill as have no compunction to drink. Had a couple last night under duress. Weird.

No they are not...Well unless you decide to marry one and buy them land, and build a house in their name, and have 400k baht in a thai bank account.

The paperwork is easy enough, I suppose it depends on your personal circumstances in the end though. Most of the bad stories here are from people who never had enough money to lose on their adventure. I'll probably walk away one day and go to Veitnam or somewhere else. The mistake people make is piling in everything and not having a walk away point.
