No way is Eriksen going to want to take a step down.

We know that you had a choice between us and our rivals, Tottenham. What was it about Arsenal that made you want to come here?
Well, the history, the badge... since I was little, I've been watching Arsenal play in the Champions League and so on, and there are a lot of French players who have come through here. So that really helped me to make my mind up. Daniel Levy contacted my agent, but my agent told me that Spurs were a club who had won no major honours for many many years and had based their only 'success' in recent years on finishing above Arsenal. However when you look at the history of Arsenal you see that they have many titles, cups and trophies. It is clear that Arsenal are a giant club, whilst Spurs to me are a small club with no real glory to speak of.
