WJs comments on the FFFP rules is a good one, why was it allowed that both clubs in the play off finals were under investigation for breaking the rules? Villa will be found guilty or should I say should be less underhand dealings take place. derby will be found guilty maybe even by a criminal court as Steve Gibson from Boro is chasing them too for stealing their place in the play offs. Bent but Villa were rewarded by getting promotion even though they've broken the rules for over 3 years

There is no loyalty in football. It seems Steve Bruce has resigned as Wendies boss along with his staff to take the Newcastle job. So the Wendies who waited for Bruce to have a family holiday have just been shat on and their pre season screwed up

Last season the YEP published a list of academy players who they thought would make the breakthrough

  1. Sarkic
  2. Rey
  3. Edmondson
  4. Dalby
  5. Hosannah
  6. Diaz
  7. Clarke
Still waiting to find out about Sarkic and Rey but Dalby and Clarke have been sold and Diaz released which only leaves Bryce Hosannah (RB) and Ryan Edmondson.

We are in the fortunate position of having some extremely talented kids available including 4 U18s who could all make an impact in the first team this season.

  1. Bogusz
  2. McCarron
  3. McKinstry
  4. Kenneh
Then we have U23s

  1. Miazek
  2. McCalmont
  3. Davies
  4. Stevens
  5. Shackelton
  6. Odour
  7. Edmondson
  8. Gotts
  9. Mujica
  10. Hosannah
So plenty of players from the all conquering academy of last season and without even mentioning our U16s who just won a European trophy and we actually added new blood. Bielsa and Corberan can actually plan the first team with introducing quality kids as back ups all around the park whenever required. No we dont have billions and cant splash the cash but do we need to?
There can't be many teams in the country with more genuine potential than these lads.

Not to worry what goes round comes round. He'll get screwed up in Newcastle, I hope.

Lion of London Bridge' who shouted 'F*** you I'm Millwall' as he confronted terrorists is DENIED compensation for his injuries because of his criminal record
  • Roy Larner became well-known for taking on the terror attackers in 2017
  • But he has been denied compensation for his injuries by authorities
  • He fell foul of rules which deny damages to those who have criminal records
A Londoner dubbed 'the Lion of LondonBridge' after he took on terrorists shouting 'f*** you, I'm Millwall' has been denied compensation for his injuries.

Roy Larner was in a pub when three jihadis killed eight people in June 2017. He later appeared on TV to tell how he took on one of the attackers.

Many of those injured in the terror attack were entitled to damages from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority, which was set up to take care of victims of crime.

But despite damaging his left arm when he was repeatedly stabbed in the attack, Mr Larner, 49, has been denied compensation due to his previous criminal convictions.

A recent inquest into the victims of the attack was shown footage of Mr Larner being savagely stabbed in the stomach.

He spent 12 days in hospital after the attack and was left with more than 80 stitches to his head, ear, arms and hands.

While in hospital, he was pictured propping himself up in bed with a 'learn to run' manual his friends had given him - which they said displayed 'our south-east London sense of humour'.

Describing the attack at the time, he said: 'They had these long knives and started shouting about Allah. Then it was, "Islam, Islam, Islam".

'Like an idiot I shouted back at them. I thought; I need to take the p**s out of these b******s.

'I took a few steps towards them and said, "f*** you, I'm Millwall'. So they started attacking me.'

Roy Larner's repeated brushes with the law

February 2017: Larner is filmed shouting 'F***ing foreign c***s' and 'National Front' at protesters in south London.

June 2017: He defends himself against the London Bridge attackers and is hailed as 'the Lion of London Bridge'.

July 2017: He unleashed a racist rant against Muslims at the office of his local, Labour, MP Neil Coyle.

January 2018: He gets a suspended sentence for racially aggravated common assault and religiously aggravated harassment over the protest and MPs rants.

January 2019: He is given a community order after 240g of amphetamine is found at his caravan

March 2019: He is taken in custody for breaching a restraining order he was given after moving in with his mother.

April 2019: He again avoids jail on a suspended sentence for breaching the restraining order.

The Sun today: 'I just want to re-build my life and had hoped some compensation might get me back on my feet.

'I'm gutted to have been rejected. But despite everything, I’d not hesitate in doing the same thing again.'

Next time something like this happens you better hope Mary Whitehouse is around to protect you. if she does and saves innocent peoples lives she will get a few bob,
But if you hate those who do these kind of things and risk your own life to save others the law will punish you <ok>

fooking makes me sick
if he ran away and hid he would probably be branded a coward
