Being one of the best British CB's hardly says much at the moment tbh, can you imagine if a club signed Henderson for 70m+ and justified it by saying he's probably the best English DM?

How old is Henderson? ... which is the real point .... whoever signs Maguire can spread the cost over a good 5 or 6 years and he will only improve over the next 2 or 3 ... it's no surprise that coaches like Pep are big admirers .... but what does he know compared to the Not606 super fantasy footie managers eh? <laugh>

Your argument is basically 'anyone who disagrees with me is wrong because I said so and Leicester won a league title once'

I was just pointing out that being one of the best English CB's doesn't really count for much... its one of our worst positions!

Guardiola was interested in Lemina last Summer so Lemina > Ndidi then right? I'm sure he knows best after all... ;)

Thing is, I swear no one's even said Maguire is a bad player or anything? Just merely overpriced which is a fair statement, albeit a player is worth what a club is willing to pay.

The first person - wait, people - to actually start discrediting Maguire were Fosse and John by pointing out that he's not actually a great defender like Morgan... <laugh>

You really don't get me Libster ... I am happy for people to disagree with me ... I positively encourage it! ... because I enjoy the debate... but if you can't provide substance to your point or assertion I will pick holes in it ... it is what I do.

Do you not get the irony in the two Machestet giants (and Arsenal) being in a close season bidding war for Gareth Southgate's current first choice centre back whilst the footballing experts of Not606 go "he's not all that" <laugh>

You don't think I've acknowledged that the price being quoted is over priced? ... it's the main reason I would be OK with him leaving ffs <laugh>
.
...and I have hardly discredited the lad ... I have maintained throughout that my preference would be to keep him <doh>

And Arsenal?

Now I really know you're on the wum.

well, if that's the rate, Diop for £150m in Jan. Diop can do what Maguire does, but can also play football and turn a full circle within the confines of a pitch.

Diop is who they should be throwing the money at... not Maguire <laugh>

Diop is the bollox.

No buddy .... it got reported in the press (although I'm always sceptical) that when United and City bid between £60 and £70 million, the Goons popped up with a bid of £40 m .... I kid you not <laugh>

... but I was still on the wum nonetheless <cheers>
