5 more years of "Bendy Ball" - fantastic news.

Am I alone in wondering whether DF will feel that a back three of Godfrey, Klose and Zimmerman, with Hanley as cover, will be better suited to the Premiership especially as that would give him more options for the wide positions.
Yes please!Trybull, Vrancic, Zimbo and Srbeny are now the only significant players from last season who haven't signed new deals.
We also have a new rumour: ESPN think ourselves, Palace and Sheffield United are after Javier Ontiveros, 21 year old Malaga winger who can play anywhere in an attacking midfield 3.

Emi is a hot head who is frantic and charges in. Daniel has tamed that a bit. He still has the odd flair up. But you need a bit of bite. His cards wouldn't put me right off a player like that. We wouldn't have signed Emi is we were worried about his temperament. Our staff get players who are potential but over looked or faulted, and craft them into proper players. He could be the same. He has a hell of a lot of talent.Ontiveros is talented but undisciplined; 11 yellows and a red in 33 games. He does show a lot of heart in the videos above.

Ontiveros apparently has a £6.7m release clause and wants a move to the Prem.
Sounds even more Emi-like. At the top end of affordable, but I can believe we want another attacking midfielder, purely because of the players linked rather than due to the squad composition. Cantwell out on loan perhaps?
Cory (@iwritethings23 on twitter) really is the font of all transfer gossip. Latest thing they've found:
On the Wrath of the Barclay forum, someone claiming to be In The Know (and called the Buendia and Heise moves), thinks there is interest in Bowen, with Marshall likely to go the other way. The club see Bowen as an option at #10 as well as wide. Apparently it's a really complicated deal (haggling, and getting the second player deal agreed), so might well drag long into August.
RB still also on the shopping list, perhaps another defensive addition too.
Supposedly a 4 year deal for Zimmerman.
